This weeks lecture has been about getting the correct weight into our characters and making sure that the balance is correct. One thing I've learnt is to make a vertical line down from the centre of weight of the character and to make sure that this line falls onto the foot (or feet if the weight is equally balanced) which the character is placing his weight on. This means that the character looks balanced because he is supporting his weight. Also I learned If the character picks up an object - the centre of mass now changes to encompass the character and object together so they must now be treated as one object to decide where the weight is.
